Remote Diagnostic Technologies Ltd (RDT) have donated a life saving Tempus Pro monitor to the Docbike project and Dorset Bikerdown – to help save lives on the roads.
Bournemouth Bikes have sponsored a supply of emergency first-aid kits to better equip bikers trained in emergency first-aid. They are available from their showroom – close to SafeWise.
Dorset DocBike & Dr Ian Mew are delivering another Dorset Biker Down course at the SafeWise centre in Bournemouth to teach bikers emergency first-aid, accident scene management & motorcycle safety.
We completed another excellent Bikerdown! course last night at the Safewise Centre in Bournemouth – again, sponsored by the team at Bournemouth Bikes, plus Dr Ian Mew from DocBike.
Police Constable Chris Smith has been awarded the prestigious Queen’s Police Medal by Her Majesty The Queen as part of her New Year’s Honours due to his passion and endless energy for road safety.
The DocBike Project, run by Dr Ian Mew and PC Chris Smith, was able to celebrate the end of summer with sizeable donations from both Poole Tourism and the Dorset Masons.
This week saw the collaborative delivery of the first Dorset Biker Down! Safety initiative event held at the Safewise Centre in Bournemouth with the DocBike project team.
Dr Ian Mew recently passed Dorset Police’s Standard Response Motorcycle Course, receiving his certificate from Inspector Matt Butler at the recent Emergency Services Day at Poole Quay.
Docbike has received a £1000 donation from Poole Council Road Safety team. Presented by the Mayor Councillor Ann Stribley and Nick Ellis (Road Safety & Engineering Officer for Poole Council).
