Dr Mew continues to draw in the crowds on one of the busiest Poole Bike nights of the year – the longest continuous bike meet in Europe, is held every Tuesday night between Spring and Autumn.
The team was very pleased to accept a donation of £1230 from the The Provincial Grand Lodge of Dorset and its Lodges which will be used to buy medical equipment for the bike in June.
Whilst on the way to Pool Bike Night, Dr Ian Mew was redirected to a serious road traffic accident & using DocBike emergency medical equipment was able to stabilise the patients.
Bournemouth business continues their support for DocBike and local road safety with a donation from local fire & security company – B&G. Their support is greatly appreciated.
We are very grateful to local business Magellan Aerospace for their generous fundraising & donation of £690 to help provide much needed medical equipment for the project.
DocBike was nominated as the 2015 Dream Machines & Poole Bike Night charity, receiving a generous donation of £2000 to fund essential life-saving medical equipment.
DocBike are extremely proud to share that Dr Ian Mew has been awarded the Jubilee Award for Service at the House of Lords in respect of his work in trauma care and for DocBike.
